Personally, I'm tired of heavyweights making comebacks until they die.
I'd like to see some new blood in the heavyweight ranks that you can actually get excited about.

Recycled old guys are painful to watch. Ali and Holmes, two of the best heavys got pounded on in their later years. I have no desire to watch Holyfield, a once great fighter, get pounded by a young up and comer.
Is there a true heavyweight champion out there right now? Who knows? The last heavy I was excited about was Iron Mike Tyson. Then he fired his old trainer when the evil Don King took his career over.
It would be a shot in the arm if the sport was cleaned up and a tourney was introduced, putting the shady promoters out of the picture. Getting a large number of heavys to fight, say two fights a week, until a chanmpion is produced, would build back fan interest and support.
As it is at the moment, I prefer to watch Ultimate Fighting Campionship action. The fighters wear only thin protection over their knuckles, resulting in very quick knock outs from power punches. It combines the fighting styles of every discipline. Submission holds are just as common to end a fight as is a KO. I see this sport catapulting itself over the sport of boxing in popularity, in the very near future.
