...........To me and my special lady, Mrs. CardinalNation. Saturday will be a special milestone in our life, Our 25th wedding anniversary. We will be sneaking off around lunch time tomorrow to a undisclosed location for a romantic (yes! you can still be romantic after 25 years) Long weekend.
Mrs. Nation has been there for me, just like the wedding vows said, in good times and bad. She never has understood my love of sports, but nevertheless supports me. Our 2nd date ended with us watching UofL and Arkansas when US Reed hit the nearly full length of the court shot to knock us out of the tournament in 1981. She got a taste of how hard I take a big loss, but she somehow married me anyway. She has gone on many a road trip with me, even though she didn't really care to. She has drug me to many a country music concerts, that I didn't care about too.:? Marriage is give and take. I thank God in heaven, every day, that he sent her my way. We have a 19 year old son, who will be a sophomore at Murray State this Fall. (No Murray State smack, please;)) Anyway, I'll be gone a few days. Please don't talk about me, while I'm gone.
