Two thumbs BIG TIME :thumbdown:thumbdown. I kid you not, I laughed ONE single time throughout the entire movie....and nearly walked out. Kind of surprised me because Jack Black is a funny actor. Anyway...save your money. Not even worth renting IMO. I can't sayenough bad things about it. Anybody else see it yet?

I haven't seen it, but my wife really wants to, which tells me it must not be very funny.

Hey Noknee, if you want to see a funny movie, rent Grand Ma's Boy. It cracked me up.

That I have never understood Jack Black's popularity was enough of a deterrent for me.:thumbup

I saw it a few weeks ago and this is one thing that I will agree with you on. It was stupid. I think they were trying for another Napolen Dynamite but they missed the mark for sure. It was horrible and not very funny at all.

AMEN. That movie was absolutely great. I thoroughly enjoy immature humor. Go rent it if you haven't seen it.

Same here(as if you all couldn't tell ;)). If you like movies like The 40 Year Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers..etc. You'll like Grand Ma's Boy.

I know Jack is a bleedin heart, but I have enjoyed all of his previous movies. The Courier Journal gave it 3 stars. That right there should have told me all I need to know. Man, did it suck. I will have to check out those other suggestions though. I need to find something to get the bad taste out of my mouth. True, I don't enjoy Adam Sandler very much, but I must admit the movie click did look enticing.
