A World Series between one team that hasn't won it since 1917 and the other one that has never won it. Thisshould be a low scoring, very tight series. Both teams have very good starting pitching. The Astros have a very good bullpen but the White Sox have had such good starting pitching, with four straight complete games, that we don't really know if their pen is any good or not.I think we are in an era of hex breaking. The Red Sox broke their jinxlast seaon and I think the White Sox will break long streak ofnot winningthis year. Could the Cubs be next?;)The Sox will win it in six games but I think I will be rooting for the Astros. Anybody else have any opinions on this years World Series?

Plus you got the Wild Card streak to keep alive.

I don't consider winning on world series breaking a hex. I still think the Red Sox still are hexed. They got sweep in the playoffs. Just last year was a fluke if you ask me.

All I can say is thank goodness the Yankees and Red Sox are at home watching.

Unfortunately, so are my StL Cardinals....

I honestly do not care who wins.

I was going to steal an idea and do sort of a running diary for Game 4, but after the game last night, (I only made it to the bottom of the 12th before falling asleep on the couch), I don't know if I could do it for 5+ hours.

Anyway, I don't know that much about Backe, but it seems like the Sox are "charmed", and just can't be beat in the postseason this year. All the better for me, since I'm a Sox fan, but that lead me to a thought on the drive home from the store a little while ago.

I'll start a new thread......
