Hey everyone... I just moved to ACC country, Winston-Salem, NC, and I was wondering how useful it would be to actually purchase the College Football package... Will we actually be televised often on the package?
Maybe you guys can give me a heads up for ways to catch the game through the tube... I have never been out of the Bluegrass State for any length of time....

Get it. I moved to raleigh with 2 games to go in last season and had to go to BW3's to watch both on gameplan. The JP games here are ACC and is usually Duke/Maryland or some other classic battle.

The Jefferson-Pilot games are televised on the internet via Yahoo!
However, Jefferson-Pilot is now Lincoln Financial, so I don't know if they are keeping this relationship. My guess would be that they are.
Anyway, virtually any UK game that would be on your college package, would be available via Yahoo!
Occasionally, there is a game on the BBTN that makes it onto the pakage (the Ohio U. game comes to mind).
You can check out the quality of the games for yourself on Yahoo sports, as they are archived.

So, with the Game Plan Package, would I be insured of getting pretty much all of UK's games? I havent been able to catch a tv listing through their website. I was hopeing that maybe one of you could tell me from your experiences... I am desparate here!

The one, possibly two, times they will be on CBS, you'll get that in North Carolina (unless your local CBS would pre-empt for a local game). That wouldn't be on Gameplan anyway.
UK figures to be on JP maybe 2 or 3 times ..... those would be your Gameplan games.
Of course, UL is already scheduled on ESPN so you'll get that in NC.
That's my best wild guess as to how it will unfold as the season goes along.

Pretty sure the only game that wasn't available via regularCable or gameplan last year was the South Carolina game and if you had DirectTV or Dish you could order it. My guess is texas State would be on BBN, (Fox Sports), which means you would need the sports pak through your satellite to get Fox Ohio or whatever one carries it. The CMU and La-Monroe games could go 3 different ways:Gameplan, Pay per view, or BBN. The rest of the games you have a good shot on regular cable or gameplan
