Never heard of Alex Acker out of Pepperdine. Detroit might have a hidden gem?

Wish Jason Maxiell would learn from Chuck how to rebound.

Another article about Chuck making it in Vegas:

http://www.hoopsworld.com/article_18010.shtml

"He needs to keep developing," said Rockets GM Carroll Dawson. "We liked him last year and it was a real struggle to get him on the team. We finally did it and he played significant minutes for us and played well. His four game is excellent and he's been a winner for us. He's got to expand his offense and that's what we're working on mostly. His rebounding, defense - the guy is uncanny, the way he is where the ball is at all times. I think it's just a knack he was born with. Maybe Tubby taught him that - I don't know. I wish he could teach some more of our guys."

Kelenna isn't doing too badly either (as seen on the same stats sheet)

Telfair is also turning the ball over WAY too much. He had 6 assists and 6 TOs in one game. He is averaging 4 TOs a game.

Kelena shot 17 free throws in his last game, which shows me he was taking it to the rack hard. Thats his key to making it in the NBA. I sure wish he would have done it more at UK. He would have been an All-American

Way to go, Chuck! :)

I watched Chuck play several games for Houston last season and was so proud of him. That he rebounds that well at his height is just UNREAL. Too, I wish we had someone on the team who WANTS THAT REBOUND as badly as Chuck Hayes did at UK and still does in the NBA.

Rondo had a good game against the Pistons. He is now second in the league in assists.

14 pts, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and only 8 personal fouls (;)).

Rondo is going to be a STAR in the NBA. Chuck will be a good role player for several years too. I hope that Buike can get on somewhere.
