The buzz last Friday was that Southeastern Conference rival Kentucky was looking to sign Mack -- perhaps to remove the bitter taste from losing a coveted recruit to UF in June.
Looks like he's leaning toward Memphis, but nonetheless this is interesting.
I can see where Florida's going here, I think. The fall-off of 5 points on the ACT might suggest that the kid cheated. A 5-point drop is pretty significant.

Rivals has this tidbit this morning:
Don't believe the reports about former Florida-signee Doneal Mack heading to Kentucky. Mack and Florida have cut ties. But, the four-star guard has his eyes set on a program outside the SEC.
The article goes on to say that the likely destination is Memphis. The source is the same as the Yahoo article: John Jordan, Mack's high school coach. Coach Jordan also says this about Mack's decision:
"I'd be very surprised if he didn't end up at Memphis. Coach (John) Calipari is a former NBA coach and Doneal's goal is to make it to the NBA. Plus, they lost a couple of their top players to the draft so it would be a very good fit. There is nothing official yet, but he is heavily leaning towards Memphis."
