He has traded the blue and gold for red, white and blue.

Instead of No. 20, he now wears No. 25.

He only carries the ball 12 to 15 times per game, rather than the 25 or 30 to which he had become accustomed.

No longer is he the big man on campus.

But it's of no concern to Moncell Allen, now that he is able to play his senior season of football. Really, that's all he ever wanted.

Is he still on board? I thought I read somewhere that he was kind of backing off his committment & was maybe looking ti stay closer to home. Maybe I just imagined reading that?

You did read that in the Herald mis-Leader. Not sure I'd put too much stock in thatalthough it is true that we normally lose and gain a handful of commits before signing day.
