Yippee! Big Time College Basketball coming To Louisville on December 5th. Wait a minute, let me look at that one more time. That's not Indiana?! Who?? What?? UK verses Chattanooga? Well, it doesn't matter. UK will sell out Freedom Hall with no problem, after all, they do lead the country in attendance, plus they have the biggest fan base of any school in Jefferson County. They sell out wherever they go, right? Oh yeah, I forgot about Iona last year, (over 6,000 empty seats)and that Austin Peay game a few years back. (9,000 empty seats) Well, at least those UK fans won't have to buy their tickets from a scalper.:lol:Maybe it's just me, but itseems like UK has lost some of that luster, in Jefferson County. I remember when it was standing room only, to go to UK's Practice. Maybe in a few years, you can borrow PRP's gym. I feel confident you'll sell it out. I hope this isn't an example of Little Ricky flexing his muscles.

When you have a program like UL in the city, their losing just permiates the whole town...even the UK fans. Not even the UK fans want to come out to watch because they just have this sick feeling everywhere they go. Thats what the NIT will do to a city.

That and the fact the Cats probably got a better winning % in Cheatum than the Cards do. Yeah, I probably wouldn't want us there either!:wildcatface

They just can't fill it anymore CN. Ever since Pitino left uk, they are lucky to get Freedom Hall half filled. Call it fair weather...call it pure envy that Pitino is at Louisville...but you won't EVER call it a sellout again. uk fans use every spin in the book. When Pitino was there the game could have been playing SW Petersburg Stateon Christmas morning and the place would be packed. No more. Sorry uk fans, but Pitino isn't walking through that door.

I believe the UK/IU game is always a sell out, but this season they must have the tractor pulls or the cattle shows there this season.

Cheatum Hall will do what it takes to keep UK playing there year after year...you can take that to the bank...

Yeah, we can see that. You just got bumped by the women's basketball team. They will bring more fans.

What I remember is Little Sister coming into Rupp arena, and spanking Big Sis's butt. Remember that?

Let's see.
Freedom Hall seats 19,000.
The last two UK neutral games in Freedom Hall:
UK vs. Iona, December 23, 2005: 13, 794 (almost 75% capacity)
UK vs. Indiana, December 11, 2004: SO (100% capacity)
It's called math. It's called a calculator. Welcome to the 21st century.

1. Freedom Hall seats 18,749 for basketball, and 19,196 for concerts.
2. That is 73%
3. Quit rounding up
4. It's called sarcasm. Get a dictionary.
Regardless, you never only filled it to 73% when Pitino was here...and that is a F-A-C-T.

Have to admit that you can not hang your attendance hat on the IU game, since they split the tixs.

Don't forget 11,000 for the Austin Peay game the year before! If I was Kentucky, I think I'd just stay in Lexington. It's getting embarrassing.
