Former Alabama basketball star Leon Douglas is on the move.
The two-time All-American was named the new head men's basketball coach at Tuskegee University on Saturday.
He replaces Ondray Wagner, who was 11-46 in just two seasons at the school.
"I am impressed with Coach Douglas' thorough knowledge of the techniques and broad aspects of basketball," Tuskegee President Benjamin F. Payton said. "He knows and has championship experience with playing, coaching and recruiting."
Douglas went 34-24 in two years as coach at Stillman College. His team won the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) tournament a year ago and advanced to the NCAA Division II tournament.
