Anybody want to help make a CD cover/insert/CD art for me?

Hey gang - I play in a Christian Rock band and we are going into the studio on July 29th to record a full length CD.

I have been messing around with something for our artwork, and although I do have "some" ability, I figured someone on here might enjoy this project and be willing to help. We can't pay anything, but will be happy to credit you on the CD insert and send you a CD.

I simply do not have the software to do this type of thing, nor do I really have the time. (I'm a single dad of 3 kids with a full time job, I help coach their sports, and play music, BUT LOVE IT ALL!)

I've been a member of this site for a while now and it certainly has some of the best posters on the 'net, and definitely some very artistic people.

Hey T-Bone - thanks for responding.

We talked about it last night and the name of the CD is going to be titled, "Reaching Out." As I said, the band name is "Wisdom's Call."

We were thinking that maybe the painting of the Sistine Chapel on the front, but not the entire painting........just the part where the hands are almost touching to give it that "reaching out" effect. Thats'what we were thinking for the very front of the insert. On the back of that, we were just going to have maybe our pictures and that kind of "normal" thing. On the front of the tray card (the area under the CD in the case, I was just thinking maybe some kind of wild looking background type stuff. That area needs to be "specy" looking, but no pictures or anything is needed, IMO. But, that's why we need help! :)

On the back of the tray card (this is the very back of the CD case if you turn it over) , the same type of designs with our song titles on there.

Of course, we also need artwork to go directly on the CD itself. The hands wouldn't work because the hold in the CD would be where the hands are.

Anyway, none of this is set in stone. We were just throwing out ideas, but the guys really liked the thought of the 2 hands on the front of the CD. Not sure if we can use it or not, but we figured we could, especially since we're not using the entire painting and just that one area.

ALL ideas are welcome!

I also have the templates to do that artowork on so it will fit the CD inserts/tray cards/spine, etc. that I can forward to whomever wants to attack this project! :ggrin:

This may take some time, so as I get some time, I may try my hand at it, at least a CD cover first, dont need any templates yet, I will start by making something the size of a cd cover and go from there.
