Great article and full of great quotes.
No matter where he goes to school, they will get a smart kid. His mom seems like someone special.
I am going to try and go see him this year as it's only a half hour or so from me.

I agree with her, particularly were she says, "where do you draw the line?" What if I ran into Patterson or some other good high school player at the mall, or out at a restaurant and had a casual conversation, wished him good luck, and said that we'd love to see you at UK, etc? Is that an NCAA violation? The NCAA's nit-picky, power mongering is disgusting. These poor kids must feel like they can't talk to anyone or do anything out in public for fear that some "rule" will be broken.

Either way, this looks like another kid we are gona have to fight off the big name schools for. Big program boost if we land him and Lucas

I agree. I like that she has sympathy for Tubby. Hopefully, she realizes that UK under Tubby is trying to do things right. That would be good for any good kid to experience.
