Lets talk about excuses haw many time have I heard "Sparks walked" "Rondo poked Juans eye on purpose"you should be one to talk about fan bases and their affinity to excuses.

Besides UK's fanbase doesn't need excuses Danny Boy we have championships and we have tradion the team around here I see needing excuses is yours as to why UL lost a 15 point lead in the second half of last years game.

Man, you guys sure are bitter! Final Four's mean nothing to you but yet you mention them all the time along with your Championships. Sorry, but Elite 8's mean nothing...but Final Four's do. That why there is a week long gap in between the Elite 8 games and the Final Four. It's like the tournament starts ALL OVER with just these four teams. ALL the focus is on ONLY those FOUR ELITE teams....and nobody else. It absolutely eats you guys alive, and I love it. Beating us is all you seem to care about. If that's the case I will happily trade a trip to the Final Four over a single season loss any day of the week.

Better get used to it losers. Just about every ESPN writer has us ranked higher yet again. It sure is GREAT being a UofL fan!!!!

Final Fours only mean something to the TV companies that promote them and make money off them. That is why there is a week long break before the final four so they can hype the teams.

If you all are happy with final fours then that is your problem and that is UL's problem you are happy with being mediocre. UK on the other hand is only eaten up but not winning a national championship that is it. As far as UL making a final four most UK fans could care less about that. What they do care about is UL fans going around talking like they won a national championship.

Secondly as far as the ESPN writers thing we will see which team is better when they meet.

First of all the answer to your question is the same as noknees. The reason the final four logo is the official logo for the NCAA before it starts is because that is when they make the most money and they have to hype it. There is more emphasis put on the final four by the fans of the teams remaining so they play that up by hyping it and making even more money. As far as the coach I have to say that you are right he is a great coach but I don't know about him doinng the same thing he did here. WE will see but I can't agree with you yet.

First of I never said that we had a hard road and we didn't have one I never even brought UK into these conversation we were talking about UL. Also I could care less about what ESPN writers say that means nothing at all to me if we were 30th out of 30 I don't care preseason ranking mean nothing when it all boils down. Look at your football team they were ranked in the top ten and look where they are now.

How do you know what I have seen and what I have not seen just because I am a UK fan doesn't mean that I have not seen UL players. I went to the derby city classic I saw them there and I went to the first UL practice thing also and I saw them there. I don't dislike UL I just dislike most of their fans like you and most of the guys that are on this board. I think that they are good but I also don't think they will be taking up for a guy that was your leading rebounder and scorer as well as the best defender on your team last year.

That might be the funnest post yet. Both of your teams climbing to the top. Your football team is one and two in the horrible big east. And your basketball team has yet to set foot on a basketball floor this year. Just like I said it is always the future for you guys "it is going to happen." WHEN? I see one final four in 19 years and two national championships that is it player and sorry that is no contest. We may not have seen a final four in 8 years but UK had 2 NCAA Championships the three years before that and one final four. So have your final four. Where are your national championships? Oh thats right is going to happen.

By the way I did experience it I saw the 96 and 98 national championships as well as our final four appearance in 97. In a Three year span we succeeded in almost eclipsing what you basketball program has done in it's history.
