I remember an article on Reggie Warford some time ago where he talked about the first time that 5 Africian Americans were on the court together for UK. Seems like it was 1975 and the five were himself, Larry Johnson, Marion Haskins and I can't remember the others or when. Jack Givens would have been a freshman along with James Lee and several others.
Anybody remember the when and who the games was against and the five players?

I'll defer to the other JPS on this one, but my guess (based on his site) would be that the five were the five you named, and that they all saw time, quite possibly together at the same time, in the first games of the 1974-75 season - an exhibition vs. Athletes in Action and a lopsided win over Northwestern.
Here's the 1974-75 season:

The player profiles include game by game stats by which you can tell who saw playing time, though not necessarily who was on the floor together at any given time.
Another page on his site details the game and lineup for the first time UK fielded five black starters.
