Man, I hated UCLA before and this isn't helping. The only good news? He's probably 1-and-done.

This article on ESPN.com yesterday was really confusing. The headline said something like, "Love joining Mayo in Southern California." It was meant to mean they'd be playing in the same geographic area, but I read it to mean they would both be USC Trojans. In that case, I was wondering whether Tim Floyd is the greatest recruiter in the nation or whether he's just got plenty of suitcases full of $100 bills.

I do believe the original article by Katz was implying he may joing Mayo at USC. He made a lot of comments about surprising everyone and Mayo had stated before abotu speaking with Love about joining him.

So much for the misconception that all the great high school players want to play run-and-gun basketball in college. NOBODY plays a slower, grind-it-out, defense oriented style than Ben Howland at UCLA.
