ESPN/ESPN radio won't comment on the departure...anyone have any inside information. I sure hope Harold resurfaces somewhere, it's always great watching him discuss baseball!

It appears that it was sexual harrasment. A link to one story below. The REDSZONE has been buzzing with this. Another story said he had piled up a few complaints and apparently this one put him over the edge. I hate to hear this. I always liked him and he was usually the voice of reason. But it appears that he was like Kirby Puckett whocould be kind and charming in front of the cameras but was a cad who couldn't keep his hands off women while off camera. I do hope that this proves not tobe true.

Are you talking Harold Reynolds.. cause the person you just described sounds like Bill Clinton

I've heard it was sexual harrassment, but one thing I read the other mentioned that he also had a huge meltdown with the producer of the show over which topics to cover on the air. They may have wanted him to take a certain point of view on a particular issue to discuss on Baseball Tonight but he didn't want to do it.

O great another sad story of someone falling victim to "accusations." Really getting annoying and scary!!!! I don't even want to watch ESPN's baseball tonight after this. I wish Harold good luck at whatever direction he decides to go. He is a great baseball analyst.

"It was a total misunderstanding," Reynolds told the Post. "My goal is to sit down and get back. To be honest with you, I gave a woman a hug and I felt like it was misinterpreted."
I like Reynolds as an analyst, but I really doubt that all it takes to get fired is a misinterpreted hug. I'm guessing there's a lot more to it than that. Mike Tirico was suspended several years ago and Jason Jackson was fired under similar circumstances at ESPN. Those guys have to know they need to mind their P's and Q's.

Do you all think he'll end up at Fox? That seems to be the landing spot for ex-ESPN employees.

I agree. The only way he could have been fired for "just a hug" is if it was in the prone position.
