Today's blog has a radio snippet with an interview with Jai Lucas. He doesn't reveal a lot that we don't already know, but if you haven't been religiously following his recruitment it might be worth a listen.

One thing that's pretty cool is that he talks with Patterson "every day," which is nice. They've discussed playing together in college, and UK is the only common college on their lists.

I love the content but other than Matt, the other participants didn't add much. Plus, there were technical problems and a general lack of professionalism to the bumps, etc. Still, I'll probably give it another shot down the road just because they're covering UK basketball.

I thought the stuff with Greg Doyel was pretty interesting. IM surprised his guess of Billy D being the first coach over the 3 million mark when he comes here next year didnt grab more attention. Just speculation of course but doesnt sound too far fetched.

Guys like Doyle love to throw out the long-shot prediction in the hopes that it pans out. I think he was the guy that picked UofL to win the national title in football last year.

The fact that Patterson and Lucas talk everyday is very interesting. I don't think it is far fetched that they may be good friends and have talked about playing college ball together-- at UK!! Let's hope that conversation has come up more than once!
