this is my follow up after they called uk cheaters...this won't last long...

Let's not forget DPEP, AKA: "Duke Parent Employment Program" right Ms Duhun and Boozer family.. Guys I will explain why 99% of all college hoops fans hate duke. For one, the non stop contact with Dookie v and Coach K's azz, it's bad enough during duke games, but it doesn't let up there. He never shuts up about duke no matter who's playing. Also, the constant camera shots of duke players parents and espn crew running into the stands to interview them. I guess every player on every other team must be a bastard cause they never show their parents. And about ESPN's crew..Do they ever hire anyone that didn't play in the ACC? Say what you want Duke get's serious millage out of ESPN and NO DUKE didn't make ESPN. That's like saying Def Lepard made MTV. BTW I'm 40 and I use to like duke until espn shoved them down my throat.

sweet post rick..i hate duke, but its not because of anything they've done..they have smart kids that seam to stay out of trouble, they win, they do it in a student friendly arena....its just that ESPN shoves all that crap down our throats.

Great post Rick. I feel the same way about dUKe. It gets old seeing how they are promoted and featured, and I will never pull for them. I can't say I pull for UL on a regular basis, but I sure wouldif they play dUKe or Indiana.

Ok, I to have to admitt to rooting for Louisville in the past, it was in the 80's and Jeff Hall played for them. Jeff went to my old high school and even though I am a LOT older than Jeff, I watched him thru high school, he was something special...BUT, when they played the Cats, I wished for Jeff to have a great game....player of the game kind of stats, but I still wished for the Cats to whip Louisville butts. No way could I ever root against the Cats.
