Good read. After watching the scrimmage on Saturday I feel very encouraged that we are going to line up with a QB who can win games this year. Both guys showed they have what it takes. I confess that after Spring practice I was not as confident. Like Keenan, I will trust Joker, Sanders and Brooks to make the call as to who starts, but I believe we will see both guys over the course of the season. I'ts really nice to finally have a real live QB competition.

Thanks for the link, Caveman. It's a great read.
Too, like trublue4life, I came away from Fan Day Saturday feeling that we have TWO fine quarterbacks who can lead us to victories and a bowl appearance.Ironically, after reading about both quarterbacks' performances during the spring, Ihad not beenthatconfident in either quarterback.
To be perfectly honest, I think Keenan's being back on the field is a part of the improved performances of both quarterbacks. I want NO player to get seriously injured this year (oh, how I would love to stay away from the injury-bug as Morris' 2002 team did), but Keenan Burton is the ONE player we need most out on the field this season. I really believe that. That young man spreads the field with his being such a long-ball threat. Hethus improves both the passing game and the running game.Keenan shows respect for both quarterbacks in his comments to Vaught. I feel sure both quarterbacks, in turn, greatly respect Keenan Burton.
