I used to think this guy was silly, but he was one of the openers for Bob Dylan.. What a unique talent.... He definitely can bring it live and is one of the best live peformers i have ever seen lmao.Â* I was wrong on this one... does any one know if the created/invented that thing he plays.. i have never seen one before he started playing it or after.

I used to be really into Junior Brown back in the day. He's a rare talent, imo.

And yes, he created he guit-steel.

i found it out.. yes he is really good.. ashame that country doesn''t encourage unique talents like him instead of women in half shirt, hooker boots, i na cowboy hat singing about broken heart.. i love junior, i must say i was wrong.

junior brown is awesome....he's old school too, which is cool...his wife plays acoustic guitar for him...and he's got standup bass and i think a guy on just a snare.....he's a hoosier, but i like him anyway:lol:....i saw him on TV one time, awesome! two thumbs up:thumbup:thumbup....way up

:lol: he is just so different.. his wife wasn't playing with him yesterday.. and he didnlt have a stand up bassist, just regular bassit, and he did have his snare player.. he is awesome...

I've seen Junior Brown many times, he is one of the greatest country musicians ever IMO.

merle travis, i think i am thinking of mel street. there was one that was obessed with the supernatural and the occult, even thoug his songs didn't reflect it, this was back in the 50s... what songs did merle travis sing.

check out http://www.eddiepennington.com that guys plays a really top notch travis-style, he's been on cumberland highlanders on RFD-TV some....he's good....mel street, that name sounds really fimiliar, but i can't place who it is...
