David Jones is looking to get offensive for the Kentucky Wildcats.
The former Belfry star isn't trying to offend anyone, but he is getting a look on the offensive side of the ball for the first time since high school.
Jones starred at both running back and defensive back for the Pirates, leading the team to back-to-back state titles in 2003 and 2004. The all-stater was signed by the Wildcats as a defensive back and played in several games last year as a true freshman, mostly at cornerback and on special teams.
Jones suffered a knee injury during the Wildcats' season-ending loss to Tennessee.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Jones was ready to go when Kentucky opened training camp earlier this month.
