UK Women win exhibition 90-34

The team from Canada didn't have much of a chance tonight as the Lady Cats steam rolled them.

A good game for the team. Not terribly challenging, but they got to go out, get a game under their belt and play against some different people. Everybody played well, but I'd have to single out Roddy and Ormerod. Roddy, coming back from an injury last year, played very aggressively. Ormerod showed just a little bit of what she's going to be able to do at UK.

I am excited for the ladies program. Sure, they do not play like the mens team but I think they can put on some entertaining basketball. If we can keep getting quality recruits things could really improve. I hope they have a great season because that will help recruiting a bunch.

It looks as if the UK Ladies will be able to compete with the SEC expicially with our frontcourt. This has been a problem for the UK women for some time

90-34 is awesome must have been like playing a middle school team. I think we may be ready to compete in the sec this year.

Yeah, the SEC is down this year---only 3 or 4 teams in the top 25 preseason. :shock:
