"Join the Wildcat football fans in the road to glory." That's the subtitle under the Football thread on this very board. Doesn't that embarass you??:lol:

"We're on a collision course with the national title. The only variable is time." A quote from the deposed Cardinal and current Florida Atlantic coach Howard Schnellenberger.
The word "time" should be replaced with South Florida and West Virginia.
You're the ones who ought to be embarassed. We didn't go around claiming a conference title and a berth in the national championship game like your bunch did.

If you have a heart at all you have to feel for the kids in their program at this point. I enjoy smack as much as the next guy, but I don't like kicking someone that can't fight back.I know this isn't aimed at the kids, but as a fan would you have really wanted to listen to thisduring theRon Cooper era?

Rick, speaking as someone from the "other side", I appreciate the thought behind your comment. Smack talk aside, I realize as much as anyone that our two programs are at different ends of the spectrum (even though I think there's a lot of "fight" left in our guys..:D) and Lord knows the 'Cats have a long hill to climb in football, but at the same time, I'm not going to let UK go un-defended, either.
Anyway, thanks for the voice of reason. ;)
