New article on rivals. We are not in his final choices and not in consideration for a visit.

If we weren't we should have been. Unlike Southern, this kid would be a major impact. If we weren't recruiting him and for that matter Hickson, super hard I think it is a mistake. Tubby must feel aweful good about Patterson, because he is once again putting all his eggs in one basket. It did not work out with Wright, hopefully it will with Pattrick. Last year we still managed to get a top 60 player in Stevenson, not sure there will be enough big guys left for us to get 2 are ranked that high and we need at least 2 forards in this class.

We have been involved with him for a long time and if it wasnt hard then I dont know what to say. Guys like him and Wright dont come along very often. You have to go at them full force.

can i clear up somethiing, note this. i know you didnlt say anythiing in particular, just making somethiings clear. i never said southern was an impact player, just a role player like nash, that would have been a good piece of the puzzle.. of course now that he went elsewhere, like nash, it was called a non impact player.. i just thought we could have had southern and thought it would have went along with a stud frontline players....
i agree that tubby seems to have put all his eggs in one basket.. when has the offical visit been set for patterson....

Patterson and Lucas are supposed to visit for Midnight Madness, I believe.

Lucas has pretty much said he will be here for sure. The Patterson thing has blown up. He hasnt set anything. He made one mention that they will discuss it when Tubby visits and everyone has taken it as automatic. I think its troubling that he has visits set with Duke and Florida but not yet with us. Tubby is has an in home visit th Monday after he visits Florida but no official visit scheduled yet.

There are conflicting reports. One article on Rivals says UK has invited him to MM and another says he asked Uk about it. IMO I beleive it was more of us inviting him. IF he asked us, it would be scheduled IMO and its not.
Pattersonwas quoted the other day as saying he would definitely be in attendence for MM.

Yep, there is some new stuff out saying the deal is done and he will make the visit. Thats great IMO, IF< IF< IF, he makes it that long without committing elswewhere.
