According to Scout, UK has offered Dele Coker. He's currently #81 on their list. Rivals doesn't list him in their Top 100. Any news?

I've only heard that from Pitt media, no where else.

As long as we get some earlier contributors, Coker could be a nice addition. He cannot stand alone as our only PF signing, though; he needs time to develop.

He's a 6'10" PF? Dang!

And nearly 250 lb. to boot.

Having a guy like this in the middle, even if he never touches the ball on offense, can pay huge dividends. Swatted shots, deflections, and the intimidation factor to guards driving in can be incredibly useful. UConn's been living off it for years.

For a guy like this, it's really about his, 1) mobility; and 2) his attitude towards improvement.

He's got all the potential in the world, but he's not ranked that high yet. His senior year should be telling if one can chart his progress over the last four.
