Meet Angelena...

Ladies and the few gentlemens that run around here in the ladies forum,

I'm an uncle again. This is my middle brother's first child. I would like for you to meet my neice Angelena.

She was born on October 27, 2005 to my brother Joey and his wife Steph at 12:27 pm. She weighed 6LBS/10.5oz.and 19.5inches tall. This is her with her mommy (my brother's wife Steph) just 10 minutes after she was brought into this world. Mommy doesn't look her best but who does after 10 minutes after giving birth?

Just notice something too. They have the same type of couch as I do material wise. I find that ironic. Plus, he hasn't saved in weeks like I have either. We have the same amount of facial hair it looks like. I guess we are brothers. *lol* Anyway, for Angelena's first Halloween, she dressed up like a pumpkin.

My oldest brother has two kids already one girl and one boy. So, looks like it's my turn now.

Being an uncle is loads of fun , if you get into it. Uncles are special because often they knew your parents when your parents were too young to know any better...! And uncles are often willing to talk...:cool:

Sorry , Joey makes me think of baby kangaroos, Joey from Friends and Joey Bishop, who was also funny guy.

Joe is one of my favorite names for a guy, so I'll see if I can go against my bias and remember your bro is Joey.

You're welcome, she is a lovely infant. Notice ,however, that you'll be dealing with a female Scorpio, who will probably get along great with her Taurus uncle.

Too, TL, I love babies so much that I sometimes dream that I have had another one. When I tell my husband that I have had one of those dreams, he says it's not a "dream" but a "nightmare." :)He prefers to think about grandbabies. I so look forward to that, and at least one of our sons did get married this past summer. :)

Well, my brother continues to torture me with updates of Angelena in various outfits. Don't get me wrong I love having the updates of Angelena but my brother is a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan and they have been sending me pictures of Angelena in various Pittsburgh Steelers outfit. Everytime I try to plan a trip to SA, it has always fell through. I'm going to be buying some UK baby clothes and send down to them but I don't know how to buy baby clothes. :blush: Or even know where is a good place to buy them.

Nooo, stop...the mom in me wants to start in with the advice ;). Baby clothes are online at Kennedy's, UKathletics, etc. It's been awhile, but I think I usually bought a size that was 3 months older than my baby's age (i.e., a 9 month size for a 6 month old). Of course, it depends on the size of the child and the season you think they'll be wearing it in. If you go into a store, I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting helpful hints about buying baby clothes.
