One of my all-time favorite showswas/is "Frasier".

Back when I was traveling more, I would buy seasons of TV show DVDs instead of individual movies, as if I was going to be gonefor more than a day or so, one or two movies wouldn't satisfy my need for entertainment.

So, about a year or so ago, I bought the first two seasons of "Frasier", and then the fourth.

In the last month, I've purchased Seasons 3,5,6, and 7. Season 8 is on the radar for tomorrow or the next day.

Someone, please help me.

I'm addicted.

(I guess it could be worse. It could be smack.)

"Frasier" is a tremendous show. Underrated, IMO.

When "Frasier," "Seinfeld," and "Friends" were on NBC Thursday nights, it was the best night of television in American history. (I know it's terribly uncool, but I actually thought "Friends" was a funny and well-made television show.)

The death of the sitcom in favor of "reality" television has really been sad to see.

I've heard it's pretty bad for you.

But not as bad as the second season of "Cop Rock."

I love to collect the seasons.

I've got all the MASH, every one of House, ER, Seinfeld, Band of Brothers, Cheers, Married with Childrens, and many more.

Same here, Dennis. I thought it was just a typo, that he meant to say problems. I clicked on it looking for a novel length post. Wasnt even sure he could count that high.>Maybe its better if he addresses one at a time, may take a while, but if thats what it takes.:P

Speaking on phone batteries, I have 1500 minutes a month, but work's been so nutso lately, that I'm already at 1700 for the month, AND THE "MONTH" DOESN'T END UNTIL SEPTEMBER 9TH!!!!!

I may have to refinance my car to pay my cellphone bill next month!

There were some great sight gags on "Frasier."

I remember one episode where they all went up to Frasier's summer home. One of the characters wasn't supposed to be there, and they were trying to hide him from another character (may have been Marty who wasn't supposed to be there), and they kept just missing each other inside the house.

Hilarious.

Well, since we're back on the subject instead of my hangups...........lol :ggrin:

I think my favorite season is Season 2. There were CLASSIC episodes that year:

-"The Matchmaker" Frasier invites his boss over to meet Daphne, but the boss is gay and thinks Frasier is inviting him over for himself.

-"Flour Child" Niles decides he wants to be a father, and does the "bag of flour" experiment (simulating a child), and keeps doing things like stabbing it, burning it, and drowning it.

-"The Innkeepers" Frasier and Niles decide to buya restaurant. 'Nuff said.

I'd also have to include "Ham Radio" from Season 4. Frasier decides to reenact a radio-play from the 30's, and overacts and overdirects.

(Interestingly, I was a little amused when I found out that John Mahoney (Martin) is only 15 years older than Kelsey Grammer, and played his father.)

Somebody will probably do a reality show about the Pluto situation.

A group of astronauts. A group of cosmonauts. A couple of bikini-clad college chicks who are thinking of majoring in astronomy. A planeterium in the valley. A hottub. And one question: Pluto! Rock or planet??????

It's...

Starmen.
