I was thinking, that the character in the three spagetti westerns was refered to as the Man with No Name. He played a bounty hunter and outlaw and anti hero. Now speed ahead years into the future, the character of Will Money in Unforgiven. a retired gunslinger who takes on one old job with his partner and a young guy. could the partner played by gene hackman, really be lee van cleaf, and will money was the man with no name. Even though all these films are thought to be seperate.. i can see how they could be connected and film makers like to put little things in there... i think my imgination is getting away with from me. LMAO

I don't remember the early movies enough to comment on that but Gene Hackman was the sheriff in Unforgiven.Morgan Freeman was his partner.

Your putting way too much thought into it Buddah. Actually at the end of "for a few dollars more" it almost seems as if LVC is Eastwoods father. Unforgiven could have played from the background of the old ones but I don't think he meant a literal connection.

Sergio Leone is a god by the way.

I thought the same about John Travolta's character in Pulp Fiction, named Vinnie... Was this a grown up Vinnie Barbarino from Welcome back Kotter?
