Aundre Henderson's (Louisville Manual DT) mother took UL posters to the wood shed for thier treatment of ST.X RB Victor Anderson today on "Inside the Ville". Aundre's mother also posted that UL fans-posters failed to give Keenan Burton the props he deserved as a player.

She also stated that Aundre, to a lesser extent, received the same treatment after verbally committing to Minnesota, before retracting that and inking with the Cards.

This is what Aundre's mother stated in one of her several posts on the thread:

"Most of my sons friends are still in high school and play football or basketball. Most of them don't have a computer at home so they come to my house to get on the message board's they want to see what is being said about them and there teams. So I know it matters to them what the fans say about them and there friends think the sports boards are good for getting there names out ,but when they see Louisville fans putting down players from Louisville they don't know what to think.I see how they look after they read these post. "

Many posters agreed with her, many did not:

Bigmommalynn, you are exactly right. That is why it bothers me how many of our faithful are saying so much sh*t to Vic Anderson right now. All players from the Ville even if they don't play for "the Ville" deserve our respect. And those who play for "the ville" deserve both our respect and Admiration!!! How about those #97 shirts, you got any to fit my two boys? Its good to hear from you and I hope to see you at the game next week.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it Anderson talking sh*t about UofL???

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it Anderson talking sh*t about UofL??? "

He's a kid. . Someone needs to be an adult. Cut the kid some slack. I hope he does well wherever he goes....

Vic Anderson deserves all of the sh*t that is being talked about him, IMO. He brought it on himself.

I don't care who John L got instead of Burton. He ignored a fine young man, a good student, a great athlete and a HUGE UofL fan that was a couple of blocks away. To me, that is a no-brainer. F%#k John L. I hope MSU loses every game this season and he ends up coaching high school ball somewhere.

Please stop all the preaching and give all the respect stuff about Burton a break. He's a very good player and our players realize that and respect him. I think most of our fans do, too. Just because they don't lavish him with praise and claim that he's an All-American doesn't mean they don't have any respect for him. I have nothing against him, he hasn't disrespected our program and probably chose to go to UK because it was the best offer he had. Can't fault a kid for that. Now as for a kid like Anderson who has an offer from UofL but seems to relish in disrespecting us, I have no good wishes for him and I'll leave it at that.

I do know there were people on the board dogging Vic long before he even gave the verbal to WVU. I attributed it then to the Trinity/St X rivalry. How would you feel if a fan base of your hometown school bashes you time after time? There have been some disgracefull threads the past year. Most of the Trinity/St X fans are very good about separating their rivalry with what is best for UofL. Some are not.

If you want to get after Vic for something he said, by all means do so. He has had his moments of not helping the situation. I know this is the Internet and people will not be held accountable due to anonymity, but ask yourself this? When did this animosity actually start? What satisfaction is derived from going after a young man who is not going to play for Louisville? It's time to move on.

Vic will never ever play for UL. He burned a bridge that will never be rebuilt. If he came back on his hands and knees begging UL they still would not let him wear a UL uniform. He offended too many UL players.

And a HS player should not stand on the sidelines of a local college teams practice and start bad mouthing them in front of boosters.

correct. We do have fans that make total asses of themselves over a kid that chooses another route in life and it isn't fair. This is ANOTHER reason that practices are closed. Bobby Petrino is sick and tired of reading about this kid and "why isn't he doing this and why isn't he doing that" and "are the coaches crazy, this kid would be a great . . . " bigmommalynn you are in a better position than the vast majority of us to make these comments and I, for one, appreciate your viewpoint. VA was being a little bit of an *** himself and the players that were around took it seriously. Perhaps you could fill us in on your son's perspective, if he has one. At any rate, I truly appreciate that your son is at UofL and that you are such a great UofL fan.

Apalled by some of the comments made about the kid and that's in response to a mother posting on their behalf. Some people just don't get it. Respect others no matter how anonymous it may feel to you. KY fans are just as guilty in many cases.

Exactly. Mrs. Henderson sounds like one fine and courageouslady. KUDOS to her for standing up for what is right, and especially in standing up to Louisville fans when her son is a part of the Louisville team. I only wish her son had chosen the Cats, of course! :)

I think UK basketball fans might be the most guilty of any sport and any school.

There's no telling how many recruits it has cost us.

I think there are fans at all schools that contribute garbage like the above. It should be noted a number of UL fans stood up and said this was just not right. It was a long thread and I selectedonly a few posts thateach represented the good and the ugly.

The one post I did like was the poster that responded to the "Anderson stated this" by stating "Act like an adult", pretty much sums it up, IMO.
