Its a keeper league and the usual suspects (L. Johnson, Tomlinson, Alexander, Rudi Johnson, Tiki, James, Portis, Brown) are all being kept...I have the #6 pick and am keeping Steven Jackson. That being said help me out with my next pick (RB)...I dont think Jordan, Williams or Westbrook will fall to me at #6....thoughts?

Lamont Jordan
Reggie Bush
Cadillac Williams
Brian Westbrook
Julius Jones
Willie Parker
Dominick Davis
Warrick Dunn
Kevin Jones
Mike Bell

If he's available, I'd pick up former Auburn Tiger / Miamia Dolphin RB Ronnie Brown. I think he's going to have a break out year now that Ricky's gone and he will get all the carries this year.

If not, I'd take his former Auburn teammate.

Being a Dol-fan Id love to have Brown (even though the Miami running game has struggled) but he is already owned...Id be really lucky if Carnell fell to me at #6...

In the league I joined I have

QB - Brees

QB - Simms

RB - R. Brown

RB - L. Jordan

WR - Chambers

WR - Warrick (not much value as a WR, but I get credit for his returns)

Defense - Cincinnati

good Rbs there and I expect a good year from Simms this season

What about this...I have offered to give up my third round pick to swap draft positions with #1 or #2 in the first round...with that pick I could get Cadillac Williams or Lamont Jordan to add to Steven Jackson and Matt Hasselbeck...giving up too much if they decide to bite on that?

Bush is a tempting pick for many folks but reserve him for your backup pick. Either he has a good, decent year or the NO offense doesn't have enough to free him.

Ronnie Brown should be your target, IMO. I don't expect a huge year but he's the kind of stable, durable and consistent back that you need.

J. Jones, D. Davis, M. Bell, C. Williams - Grab the next guy available if Brown isn't available. They are in order of preference.

Westbrook - stay away, his best year's are behind him.

Jordan - had solidyear last year and year before, but I question if he can turn out good numbers again.

Willie Parker - breakout season last year but can he do it again? I don't like gambling on 1 year wonders. Backup RB? Yea, good pick for this.

Warrick Dunn - His style is unusual for the NFL. It also doesn't help that his team's offense in the past hasn't been built around him to let him take off. He's the RB/WR combo back type in the mode of Lamont Jordan only better.

Disagree with the opinion above on Willie Parker... with Bettis gone, he's expected to get goal line carries this season. I'd expect even a better 2nd year for yardage and especially TDs. He plays behind a winning team that likes to run and has a solid O-line.

Lamont Jordan seems like the real one-year wonder to me, on a poor team that will probably score more thru the air.

Westbrook, J Jones, and Davis are injury risks who probably will share their backfields.

I like M Bell, but for a later pick, he'll also split carries with T Bell.

Dunn and K Jones should be solid, and I like Chester Taylor too.

I got a guy (#1 overall pick) nibbling at the 3rd round pick for the #1/#6 swap, think Im giving up too much for what probably will be Carnell Williams?

I would love to have Brown but someone is keeping him already.

Julius Jones scares me cause Marion Barber will get the majority of the 3rd down carries...the "running back by committee" deal.

Mike Bell...who knows what Denver will do

Domanick Davis...bad knee...

Parker has been slated by Cowher to get the goal line carries already

I would go with Cadillac or Warrick Dunn. Reggie Bush if you want to take a chance he might get ball more than two or three guys on this list combined. NO will be using him to his fullest this year.

yeah if I make that trade up to the #1 pick it will be Carnell even though Im a little bit concerned about his durability (same with Dunn)...I like Chester Taylor or Willie Parker if I stay at #6 (and they last that long) for the simple fact that they are less likely to fall victim to the "RB by committee" syndrome than Julius Jones or the Denver RBs....
