1. Tony Greene. 2. Michael Roberts. 3. Ron Groover.
Missed Walks, 6 Palms, 4
Consistency was good for this crew, although contact in the paint was allowed to get rough. You worked well together and covered the court well. Off ball coverage was good and preventative officiating was evident. Without it, this game could have gotten ugly. Bench decorum continues to be an issue, especially the coach of white team. Rotation and switching was good, with a couple exceptions in first half. Mr Roberts seemed to work to far out on the court when at trail position. Walking violations before contact was evident on several occasions. I have a few concerns.
Greene; #5 orange walked before foul called on #15 white.
Roberts; Good block call on #15 orange. Good positioning at lead.
Greene; Good block and extra elbow call on #12 white. Prior to that play, you missed a high elbow to chin of #12 white by #13 orange. Later, viewed monitor and got it right.
Greene; #4 orange pushed #33 white to floor on rebound. No call?
Groover; #20 orange pushed #15 white going for rebound. No call?
Roberts-Greene; #15 white touched ball in cylinder on shot by #12 white. No Call?
Roberts; #22 white on the back of #20 orange. No call?
Roberts; #3 white with shoulder hard into a set #0 orange. No call?
Groover; Great player control foul call on #34 white. High elbow to face. Monitor review, you got it right.
This crew took care of business and controlled a possible volatile game. Rough play in paint was not addressed satisfactorily, with players pushing a lot, especially setting up for rebounds. Reread bench decorum rules. Other than those few issues, you worked a fair to all game. Crew grade, A-.
