Thread: P.Patterson

  1. P.Patterson

Over on TCP there is a thread on P.P. it stated he had been taken to the hospital due to shortness of breath. Has anyone heard this? If this is true I hope the best for him!

This article seems real sketchy to me....

That is the only info I've seen on it, and that is a blog entry only.

There was a thread on here last night about it, and due to lack on concrete info, it was deleted.

That blog person is stepping close to the HIPPA line as he tries to make a story. And if a nurse really told someone that, .

There will be a real announcement if there is anything to this.

  3. Nothing confirmed by UK...to me, this is another "done deal" rumor that (hopefully) has no validity...not sure why someone would start the rumor, or why a Lexington television station would report such rumor prior to any official announcement or confirmation, but there are sick and stupid people out there...hey Roby Bromley, a rumor isn't news so reporting it doesn't help your journalistic credentials...unless you work at TMZ or Access Hollywood...

According to Kentucky Sports Radio, Matt's Site, still no confirmation. He even talked with Patterson's Mother who had heard nothing about it. As said, probably and hopefully just a rumor.

Great news for Patterson. I know that he must have been very concerned about all of this. And, I am sure that his Mom, after learning about it, was a real wreck too for a while. I bet she gives a royal chewing out to UK for not informing her before now and IMO they deserve one. I know I would be ticked off if I were in her shoes. Of course, they may have and she was playing dumb because they asked her to?

Great news for UK as well. It sure would have been a hard hit to take for our season coming up were we to not have Patterson in the lineup.

I had read the thread before it had been deleted. I knew a nurse could not share such information. YET, I was still concerned that there might be SOMETHING that had caused such a rumor.

It was good to read this morning that it had only been an URI. As a parent of an athletic son who endured so many of those--and accompanying bronchial asthma--shortness of breath can surely be one of the symptoms, especially for a basketball player out on the court.

Mostly, I'm thankful the rumor was false--first for Patrick's case and THEN for our team.
