    But more to the point

Morgan takes some Valium, sets his feet and makes the intermediate and short throws. We catch um too, at least most of um.
The O-line continues to gel and after the first quarter they finally put Josh in and and the running game clicks. We start controlling the ball.
Our defense befuddles the Bird line.
Louisville team looks like rejects from the Tyson Chicken slaughter house.
We get six sacks and we win 35-10.
Kentucky State police arrest 324 Card fans for DUI between the Waddy and Simpsonville exits. The other 96 Card fans are nabbbed Love's Truck Stop for drunk and disorderly.

  4. This game will be a nightmare to watch, but I'll say:

    Kentucky 17
    Louisville 10

My take is that you have two teams who's defenses are better than their offenses (not necessarily good defenses mind you, just better than their respective offenses), so I don't see a high scoring game at all.

I'll predict UK kicks a FG late in the 4th quarter and hangs on for a
    16-14 win.

  6. just hoping

I'm just hoping that the offense (and some of the defense) has been holding back in showing all their cards --- makes a little sense? Okay, maybe just wishful thinking. But at least ... I sure wish the play callers could recognize that we do have a few tight ends who might be able to catch a ball. And my prediction has more than a little to do with Louisville's youth and performance so far this year. I don't feel great ... no, check that ... I don't even feel good about our SEC play.

  7. I said we would beat Western by 50 points. I know nothing about football!!
Just a big fan of UK Football.

  8. CATS - 3
    UL - 2

It will be an Instant Classic on ESPN as the Worst College Football Game Ever Played...

But if I pick scores like I pick women, I'm probably wrong so I'll go with:

    Cats - 24
    UL - 13

I expect the offense will show some improvement and the defense will come up with some turnovers and big plays.
    Go Cats!

I'm going to have confidence that our offensive line is getting healthy and that the spark we saw on offense during the last 20 minutes of last week's game carries over. I'm going to believe Joker's logically absurd decision to go for the TD on 4th and goal while leading by 7 ignited some confidence in the team.

This is the worst kind of rivalry game: The kind where you're afraid of a loss much, much more than you're excited about a win. The only way I'll actually be excited tonight is if we just pulverize them, otherwise I'm going to be anxious and fearing a loss until the final horn.

But I think we win reasonably comfortably, but don't necessarily pulverize them:

    Kentucky 27
    Louisville 16
(TD and three FG's, no safety)
