Honest question: So if Terrence is somewhere between 18-22 in a packed draft, would it behoove him (from a monetary perspective) to stay another year and move into the top ten for the next draft?
How does the math work on that (for you math genii out there)?
And I'd love for Doron to stay another year, but he looks like one of those NBA guys that comes off the bench for 12 years and has a really nice, low-wattage career and makes a lot of money. Love that kid's game.

In order to give a valid answer to your question, I would think that a person would have to know how many players, at Jones position, will be returning to school this fall and the talent level of those players. Theoretically, next year's draft could be as bad or worse for Terrence, as this year's, if it contains a lot of really talented players at his position. My personal opinion is that Terrence will not be back. I doubt he would have returned last year had it not been for the NBA labor dispute.

Energy. Heart. Motivation. Create team atmosphere and hold it together. These are things any coach at any level would value. Ever played ball on a bad team with no heart?
There are tons of players who have physical ability; only a handful that have it mentally correct.

Renardo Sydney signs with agent and will not return.
Dion Waters from Syracuse also signs with agent.

Sydney is a case. He will soon be a wealthy case.
Rivers should have stayed one more year. So should Teague. Here's something though: how much of the outstanding play we see is because of the team around the individual player? If MKG stays will he have a super year or spend the season with gimmick D's aimed at him? Sullinger likely lost several million staying a year.
I hate to say it, but it boils down to what Joakim Noah had to say....if you enjoy the college game and DON'T need the money, by all means stay. The difference between three million a year and five million a year????You still eat that filet mignon every night you wish. Noah was also from a very well-to-do family.
Before I start crying I want MKG or TJ to stay, I want to think about that knee knocker Anthony Davis had. Terrible thoughts: knee surgeries, broken bones from getting undercut, and that now dreaded term microfracture.
You only have so many years to play. I've gone 180 on this. Go while you can get the money boys. Once you get it, a thirty year old multimillionaire has plenty of time to go to class to get a degree.....

I really wonder if Sydney will be drafted? He is such a head case. And down right lazy. I know I wouldn't take him in either 1st or 2nd round. He does sound like someone the Wizards would take. He would fit right in with their dysfunctional bunch.

I would sincerely hope not...I did check the mock draft though, and he isn't listed.

Sydney is a case of likely should have gone last season. Free agent pick by somebody.
It could be a case he doesn't have much choice but to go.

Why would anyone spend an ounce of effort or a dollar on this idiot?
Sidney signed with sports agent Travis King of Rogue Sports on Sunday
Very fitting who he signed as his sports agency.
I've always said it's a shame you can't transfer the abilities of a person who obviously doesn't appreciate and use his talents to someone who would use them correctly. Just a horrible waste with Sydney. I hate to say it but I expect to see his name in the police blotters or drug list before long.
