The fans felt it was necessary to send a message. Some are still not convinced it has already been received and is being acted on.

Did the players deserve the boycott? Jurich and the coach will get a paycheck no matter what the outcome or crowd is like. UK has had many a bad year. No way do I not support the guys who are out there getting banged up and playing their hearts out.

The message being that you're only passionate about football if you're winning?

John L. Smiff once said he'd rather fans show up and boo.........indicates they've got passion for the program and pushing for improvement. Empty seats tend to say the opposite.............

Speaking of John L

boy he knew what he was saying when he said UL fans should know where they stand on the food chain. And I agree Cathy, never jumped ship on our Cats and we've had plenty a down year.

Kentucky fans have always been willing to accept mediocrity at football. It is a different story when you have actually had some success.

What success? One BCS bowl in the history of the program. Success haha. Nice way to take a shot at UK in an otherwise PC thread Yule.

Against Wake Forest, a team in a bad conference.

You got into the Big Least to compeete for a National Championship..
Now your competing to not be the bottom of the WORST BCS conference.

To Quote Erick Kasuilus from ESPN Radio

"THE BIG EAST SHOULD HAVE THEIR BCS RIGHTS TAKEN AWARE.. THE ARE THE WORST OF ALL THE MAJOR CONFERENCES"

Ohh and check out my tagline..

You would be tickled to go 6-6 right now

If your constant claims of "spinning" attendence numbers were true, then its very interesting the number that was release as attendance (21,000). We could have easily said "35,000 sold tickets" instead. Perhaps Louisville is preparing to set up reasons to fire Kragthorpe and the "spin" is no longer. I can only hope...

I agree with Cathy. It is a shame for the players. They are still working, sweating, representing.

There were actually quite a few people there at kickoff, definitely 30,000 plus (which is good considering recent attendance). But i was one of the many that left early. While my reason was completely unrelated to football, Kragthorpe isnt giving me and others added motivation to alter my schedule to stay long.

Kragthorpes offense is even harder to watch than Tubby-ball
