You cards fans are pathetic

Boy how the mighty Orange Bowl champs have fallen. Thumping your chest over beating a horrible team at home in front of less people than St. X-Trinity draw. Meanwhile Big Brother will go to a fourth consecutive bowl game after playing in a real conference which will probably produce another national champion. Sucks to be you!!!

they beat us becasue they are better
they beat us because we played bad.....because our defense is depleted badly due to injuries. They are not the better team. UL is struggling because they haven't got the kind of talent they need. That is on the staff in charge for failing to recruit what they need...I don't like UL, but I know what it's like to be in their shoes and a little humility would do us all well.

Were they showing humility when we were in that spot? NO.... You are a relatively new poster here so just in case you didn't see the title on top of the page this is a ribbing and rivalry board. Not a humility and friendly pat on the backs board.

LOL, quite possibly the lamest and most feeble attempt at smack I have ever seen on this board. Nice try tho. Any Cards fan trying to attempt football smack amuses me quite a bit.

Nice smack talk in there lil man. I would love for you to actually make an arguement instead of just saying im lame.

This board has been slow, i just wanted to get everyone talking again. I miss the days when beating a Sun Belt team wasnt a big deal, but it will probably be our last win of the year so i had to get some smack in.

I'd say WKU is pretty close to both. VMI were one of the highest scoring teams in the NCAA's for two straight years.

I was about to post that Louisville would surely beat Syracuse. I counted that as a UL win preseason. But I just pulled them up on ESPN and they look to be significantly improved this year. Still, I have a hard time seeing UL go winless in the Big East.

In your opinion was the attendance for Arkansas State an anomaly, or will it be like that for the rest of the season?

You are saying a team that went to the sweet sixteen 2 years ago is equal to what VMI and Gardiner Webb have done??????

Halloween made the 20,000 "die hard fans" we have leave early, but im not sure that halloween can be used as an excuse for a 3:30 game time. It wouldnt have mattered 3 years ago, i can guarantee that. i saw someone throw tickets away in a dumpster before the game because he couldnt give them away. I think a lot of fans are have trouble with wanting the Cards to win but realizing too much winning means Kragthorpe stays, and that makes it harder to watch.

All that being said, i expect a bit more, like 25,000 at Syracuse.

Lets face it WKU two years ago isn't the same as WKU last year. So yes that is what I am saying.

Apparently, "Halloween" happens quite frequently in Louisville.

I went to watch WKU play yesterday and they had over 16,000 fans there and they are 0-9 and on a 17 game losing streak

Face it..the Loserville fan base sucks

Wow. Are that many people staying away to make a point, or have that many people just lost interest?

Was the Arkansas State game the smallest crowd ever in stadium history? How long ago was the last time UL drew that small a crowd?

UL fans treat losing teams pretty harshly, as in Crum's twilight.

Still, they'll be back for the opener next year.
