I was wrong...

Before the beginning of the season I heard a lot of good things and bad things about DeMarcus Cousins. I honestly thought we were going to have another Randolph Morris on our hands, and was not happy about this at all. In fact I was one who thought Orton should start over him.

Well I'm here to say I was wrong.

DeMarcus Cousins not only is active on the offense, but is very active on the defensive side of the ball. I know it's against a division 2 team, but it was really good to seem him moving and active. He had a steal, 2 blocks, 2 assists and 6 boards. I don't expect to him end up with a double double every night because we have 4 to 6 big men who can rebound the ball. He lead several fast breaks tonight, and had a sweet pass to Dodson( or was it Miller?!). Anyways I just wanna make this a formal apology to Big Cuz and say I'm a believer. Now don't become a lazy bum and make me eat crow!

I too have to change my thoughts about Cousins,at first by him not smiling very much he might have a little of an attitude problem, and i thought he might be a little slow.He has proven me wrong big time!I see him now smiling a lot and he has terrific speed and is a beast i wouldn`t want to p--- him off in the paint................Rocky

I was never down on him because in the videos of him we all saw it was clear that he has great skills for a big man. But I do admit that I was a bit worried about him taking too many plays off. Coach has done a great job with the guys in motivating them to give it all for as long as they can and then ask to come out if they need a blow. It sure seemed to work last night and I hope it continues.

The play where Cuz followed his shot, got his own rebound and jammed it was just fantastic.

And Big Cuz is money in the paint. If he gets the ball down there he scores or get fouled. Either way he is just money down there.

Well-said, freethrow. I, too, really like what I'm seeing and hope that it continues. Also, though, DeMarcus has hopefully grown up a bit. Something I had read about his high school days had not been good. That's in the past, though, and it's only the present and future that will influence my opinion of the young man. I love that his teammates seem to love him, and I think that he can be REALLY special.

UK has the best fans in the World. PERIOD!

I don't care what any of the other scrubs out there say.

Kentucky Fans are everywhere and trust me, we show our colors all around the globe.

Everywhere I've been I run into Kentucky Fans.

EVERYWHERE!

And a Kentucky fan is always willing to spend a few minutes discussing the Cats.

Even in the middle of the Forum in Rome, at the Louvre in Paris, at the Parthenon in Athens and in a remote village called Chaghcharan in the middle of the mountains in Western Afghanistan.

Kentucky Basketball is King!

Go Big Blue!
